Vessi Reviews

This reviews stretches from my 1st time experience with Vessi:
1. I had payment problems when I first started. At the end of my long conversation with Alex, Vessi should EXPLICITLY mention that if the customer chooses to pay via credit card, only credit cards of US-based banks are accepted. Having VISA / MasterCard, etc is not enough.
2. If the website chat feature is unavailable, the website shouldn't display the chat feature icon in the "Contact us" page. Inversely, they should put it back if it is available. The IT team seems to forget to do this. I am pointing this out because people who live in different time zones like me get frustrated because our effort of staying up late goes unrewarded if the website doesn't display a warning that the chat feature is unavailable. I have experience that I had to stay up until 3am and learn from the IG team that the website feature was unavailable all along.
3. I think that it is paramount that the shipping company notifies Vessi about certain critical points: (1) if the package has arrived and (2) if the package has exceeded Vessi's 14 day maximum shipping time. I have experience with Wizmo, FEDEX, and DHL. So far none shipping companies executes #2 and only FEDEX executes #1. I am mentioning this because we both know that a lot of your customers have problems when it comes to shipping. In my case, I've been waiting for my pair for MORE THAN A MONTH without any progress nor any compensation.
4. The shoes itself are great and most of the customers have already expressed my thoughts on its comfortability and performance. Although I would point out that I hope the shoe collar can be improved because my achilles skin gets blisters. Maybe overlay the part with a softer material?
5. I wanna suggest that you guys could maybe create an asian fit for your shoes. My shoes is the Weekends so I don't have experience with the other styles but I wanna suggest that maybe the asian fit could have a tight fit around the topline of the shoe so it can hug the ankles more. Water enters the shoe from this part maybe coz I got asian ankles.
6. Speaking of asia, I noticed that all of the founders are Asians and yet the fundraisers and causes of Vessi are directed into 1st world organizations. Wouldn't it be better if this Asian-founded company directs more of its fundraisers and causes for 2nd and 3rd world Asian countries? I understand that Canada is a wonderland but I think our asian communities (e.g. SouthEast Asia) need it more than the 1st world organizations.
7. Wouldn't you guys make more onsite stores? Taiwan would be a good place to start since your shoes are made in Taiwan.
8. If the shoes are made in Taiwan and China, why does the website only include the tax if you buy from US or Canada? Why not include the tax if you buy from Taiwan or China? I suggest you include these too since they manufacture the shoes.
9. Most of the shipping company partners have transit facilities in other southeast /east Asian countries. Wouldn't it be better for Vessi to also ship into those countries? I think it is also better to start shipping outside of japan, south korea, taiwan, singapore.
10. FAQs said that you shouldn't douse your shoes with swimming pool water since it might damage the waterproofing. We the customers love your shoes and I think it would be great for everybody's interest, including yours, to disclose the full list of liquids we shouldn't pour / accidentally pour on our shoes.
11. "Account log in" button disappeared from the website.

I absolutely love Vessi shoes! I’m so thankful for my waterproof shoes bc I work outside as an Amazon delivery driver so my feet used to get soaked until I was introduced to Vessi shoes! Thank y’all so much!! Very happy customer here! I am spreading the word to all my co workers too!
